A home yard haunt open Halloween night only.
The Recent Past
A happy, young couple sign their names and take possession of the keys vowing to spend that first night in their newly purchased house. Little did they suspect the what lies beneath the soil of their seemingly happy home...
History
We've been able to piece together some of the
story behind
the occurrences on Halloween from historical records, but the story is
incomplete. For now, here is what we know.
The body of water now known as
At the turn of the 20th century, in hopes of drawing visitors from the
city
during summer months, the streams running through the meadow were
dammed and
In the interest of promoting the newly created area as a resort
destination,
the cemetery was relocated, though none of the records seem to indicate
where.
As disconcerting as this is, what worries us most is that the last two
graves
were removed on October 31, 1923. Rumor has it they were the graves of
Balthos
and Molly MacGregor. One can't help but think this is more than mere
coincidence.
We fear this may be the key to the events that occur on this land every
October
31. And each year it gets a little worse than the last.
Our research continues in hopes of learning the whole story.
